Did you know that we do repairs on Beacons? So long as it makes sense, we’re happy to try to get your lights back into action. We're still seeing and repairing some of the original circuit boards from 2011!
Tom’s a whiz at replacing LEDs, switches and sockets. New batteries are an easy fix. So long as the circuit board is not peeling or corroded from exposure to water and humidity, we can often get them working again. If it's peeling, we cannot repair it. If you want to send photos we might be able to diagnose it from afar and assess if it's worth returning the light to us. Email to [email protected]. Beacons are under warranty for one year for manufacturing defects. We’re sorry but water and humidity damage are not manufacturing defects.
Repairs are $10 per board which includes replacing any damaged components including a battery and return shipping. If the board cannot be repaired, we will refund $5 or credit that amount toward a replacement circuit board. If the problem is covered under our warranty, we will refund the full amount.
If you’d like us to try to repair the light, please enter an order here and mail the non-working light to us.
Remove the circuit board from the plastic enclosure and mail just the board to us: RowKraft, 1500 Longshore Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. Include your contact information and return address inside the package. Is the battery swollen? If so, please clip the bad battery from the circuit board and dispose of it before returning to us. If it's peeling, we cannot repair it.
