U-Sweep – Take the catch together

U-Sweep gives each rower a clear visual reference of where to place the blade in the water. Installing one U-Sweep in front of each rower gives the whole crew the same visual reference for blade entry. When the blade enters the water at the same place and at the same time throughout the boat, the catch becomes more consistent, and everything else becomes easier.

The U-Sweep Tool allows each U-Sweep to be positioned very easily and precisely, in a consistent way, with the same angle relative to the oarlock. The  Tool attaches to the oarlock pin nuts to precisely set the position of the U-Sweeps, without any dismantling or measurement. The U-Sweeps then attach directly to the gunwale using their integrated clamp system. Thanks to the integrated reference mark, the exact position can be marked on the boat: they can be removed, used on another boat, then repositioned exactly in the same place at the next session. This also helps make rowers autonomous: they can install the U-Sweeps themselves whenever needed.
